A new project at the Planning application stage for renovation work to a grade 2 listed house in Bayswater includes a neat and intruiging new extension at the back of the house, within a side return area.
It aims to make a new kind of connection between house a garden, appearing as a large out door sculpture.
Spanning over only two levels, it will enlarge a main bedroom at lower ground floor level also include a circular sunken garden, with steps up to the larger back garden.
Above, at raised ground floor level a new raised terrace gives view over a lushly planted back garden. Glass lenses set into the floor of the terrace bring natural light into the new areas below.
